Glass is about consistency. It does not absorb moisture like cloth, so the glide stays much closer to the same speed through long sessions, humid days, and repeated use. The hard surface also gives mouse input a crisp, direct feel, making tracking and micro-adjustments easier to read.

It is not a one-speed-fits-all surface. Hachiware glass pads range from controlled to very fast, so you can choose the glide that fits your aim style. Glass is also easy to maintain and does not develop the same worn-in slow spots as cloth.

Use a clean microfiber cloth for dust and everyday marks. For fingerprints or buildup, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, residue-free glass cleaner, wipe the surface, and let it dry fully before playing.

Do not use abrasive pads, powdered cleaners, or spray liquid directly onto the pad. Clean your mouse skates at the same time; dust on the skates is the most common cause of a scratchy or noisy glide.

Hachiware glass pads use a full-coverage anti-slip PU base. It spreads grip across the entire pad, keeping it stable during low-sensitivity swipes without glue or permanent adhesive.

It works best on a clean, flat, dry desk. If the pad starts to move, wipe the desk and the underside with a slightly damp microfiber cloth and let both dry completely. The base is designed to grip the surface, not bond to it, so it can be lifted and repositioned without adhesive residue.
